Jewellery is one of the oldest activities in Ethiopia. Archeological findings testify that Ethiopians have proven skills in Jewellery some hundred years before the birth of Christ. The ornaments and the gold coins of the ancient Axumite Kings is an evidence for the presence of such skill in the country so long times a go. Although some parts of the country like Axum are famous for nicely crafted Jewellery, virtually all nations and nationalities of the country have got superb skills in producing jewelers from gold, silver, bronze, other metals and animal tooth and horns. The Jewellery shop of the center is organized in such a way that it represents the works of the various nations and nationalities of the country.
